G-T-T-P
The Golf Transformation, Training Program Is a golf program like no other.
Watch the video here on putting to see the type of training you will be doing.
And get yourself a new practice drill 🙂
1.2 PUTTING (Lag putting)
Most golfers don’t improve because they don’t practice properly. A lot of golfers don’t improve because they don’t practice at all.
The ethos behind this program came when Jak watched the 2012 Olympics… One of the GB coaches had their athletes working on “marginal gains.”
The idea being you break a sport down into 20 components or so, aiming to improve each component by 1%. Improving your OVERALL performance by 20%.
GTTP is broken down into the following components:
- PUTTING
- CHIPPING
- PITCHING
- BUNKERS
- WEDGE PLAY
- IRON PLAY
- HYBRID & 3 WOOD
- DRIVER
- SHOT SHAPING
- HOW TO WARM UP
- ADDITIONAL PRACTICE
The first 9 skill sets listed all have two aspects.
Putting for example is broken down into 1.1 holing out (short distance) & 1.2 lag putting (long distance).
How & What to train
How to warm up and additional practice are just one training video each.
Not only are there 20 training videos showing you HOW to practice.
Each week, for 6 months there are practice routines telling you WHAT to practice.
It’s highly recommended you spend 2 hours per week practicing.
Week 1 for example is putting, chipping and driving.
40 minutes on each elements is 120 minutes (2 hours practice)
See an example here of your week 1 practice routine:
GTTP’s overall practice ratio is:
- 55% Long Game (including wedge play)
- 30% Short Game
- 15% Putting.
People think nothing these days of spending over £500 on a driver or £1,000 on a set of irons.
Sadly, they have the same swing faults and the same practice routine. But with the latest equipment.

GTTP costs £500.
For the price of a Driver… You are guaranteed to improve.
